Premade Adenoviruses

Adenoviruses are able to introduce foreign genes into target, host cells efficiently, making the virus attractive as a research tool in cell biology. Adenoviruses have a very broad host range, and can infect human and other mammalian cell lines or primary cells, including replicative as well as non-replicative cells. There are in fact very few cell lines that cannot be infected.
