This hybridoma line constitutively produces a phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) monoclonal antibody [clone MBC 219.1] that recognizes both purified and recombinant forms of human and mouse PLSCR1.
Highlights:
Phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) is a calcium-binding protein that has been implicated in the transbilayer movement of plasma membrane phospholipids (PLs). PLSCR1 potentially functions to redistribute membrane PLs that play a central role in activation of complement, coagulation systems, and in recognition and phagocytic clearance of injured, aged or apoptotic cells. Four human PLSCR genes (HuPLSCR1–4) have been identified which are conserved through evolution.
