Alkynyl 4-oxo-2-nonenal (aONE)

Alkynyl ONE is a surrogate for endogenously generated ONE, a product of lipid oxidation and indicator or oxidative stress. The alkyne moiety allows the compound to be reacted with a fluorescent or biotin label via copper-catalyzed click chemistry for visualization and/or enrichment techniques.
