This mouse IgM monoclonal (CCRC-M2) was generated against Rhamnogalacturonan-I/MeBSA complex (Non-covalent) and belongs to the Rhamnogalacturonan-Ia clade of antibodies and binds to an epitope present in Rhamnogalacturonan-I from Gum Karaya, and sycamore and Arabidopsis pectic polysaccharides.

Rhamnogalacturonans (RGs) are a family of related cell wall pectic polysaccharides that contain a repeating backbone of a-D-GalpA-(1,2)-a-L-Rhap-(1), and carry diverse side chains that are attached to the Rha residues and are composed largely of arabinosyl and/or galactosyl residues.
