This mouse monoclonal antibody was generated against human E2F6 (full length, 6X His-tagged) and recognizes both human and mouse E2F6.
E2F6 is a winged helix transcription factor important for regulating the expression of genes encoding proteins required for meiosis, cell cycle exit and skeletal patterning. E2F6 also interacts with members of the Bmi1 containing polycomb group complex and predominantly functions as a repressor of transcription.
