This mouse IgA monoclonal antibody was generated against xyloglucan and recognizes sycamore, lupin and gum tragacanth fucosylated xyloglucans and rhamnogalacturonan I (RG1).
Highlights:
Xyloglucan is a hemiceullose or polysaccharide that is found in the primary cell wall of all vascular plants. Xyloglucan binds to the surface of cellulose microfibrils and may link them together. Rhamnogalacturonans (RGs) are a family of related cell wall pectic polysaccharides that contain a repeating backbone of a-D-GalpA-(1,2)-a-L-Rhap-(1).
