This rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against the N-terminus of sodium-coupled neutral amino acid transporter 1 (SNAT1) GST-fusion protein and recognizes mouse and rat SNAT1.
Highlights:
SNAT1 also known as SLC38A1 is an amino acid transporter and specifically plays a role in in the transport of glutamine and sodium ions. It also acts as an intermediate in the detoxification of ammonia and the production of urea and may supply glutamatergic and GABAergic neurons with glutamine.
