Cy5 hydrazide reactive dye for the labeling of aldehydes and ketones.
This dye reacts smoothly and nearly quantitatively with various carbonyl groups encountered in biomolecules. Examples are proteins subjected to oxidative stress, and oligonucleotides with aldehyde moieties.
Also available: Cy5 Boc-hydrazide (with Boc protective group, which can be removed with acid).
