This mouse IgG monoclonal antibody was generated against carcinoma cells and recognizes human Tetraspanin-8 (Tspan8).
Highlights:
CO-029/TSPAN8 is a glycoprotein and a member of transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. CO-029/TSPAN8 is a cell-surface protein that is characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. CO-029/TSPAN8 controls signaling regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. CO-029/TSPAN8 also forms a complex with integrins and is expressed in various carcinomas.
