Anti-Rhamnogalacturonan I (Unbranched) Backbone [CCRC M14] Antibody (supernatant)

This mouse IgM monoclonal antibody was generated against sycamore RG-I/MeBSA non and recognizes sycamore and Arabidopsis Rhamnogalacturonan I (RG1).

Highlights:

  • Reacts with sycamore and Arabidopsis Rhamnogalacturonan I backbone
  • Binds to the backbone of unbranched RG1
  • Binding is not affected by the nature of the glycosyl residue at the non-reducing terminus
  • Binds moderately to a RG1 backbone oligosaccharide of DP = 9 carrying a single disaccharide branch
  • Suitable for ELISA applications for enzymatic studies in plants, biomass deconstruction and characterization and in biofuels research and, together with other antibodies from the same researchers, comprise a biomass deconstruction characterization kit

Rhamnogalacturonans (RGs) are a family of related cell wall pectic polysaccharides that contain a repeating backbone of a-D-GalpA-(1,2)-a-L-Rhap-(1).
