pCS2-SENP2(M) plasmid is a vector encoding the Senp2 gene for SUMO-specific protease 2.
Highlights:
pCS2-SENP2(M) is a plasmid containing cDNA which encodes the middle isoform of myc tagged SENP2. The expression is driven by CMV promoter. SENP2 encodes SUMO-specific protease 2 which is found in three alternatively spliced forms exhibiting differential subcellular localizations. Genetic inactivation of Senp2 in mice reveals its requirement in development of trophoblast stem cell niches and lineages during development of the placenta. The deletion of SENP2 in the neural progenitors results in neural degeneration mediated through modulation of Drp1-dependent mitochondrial morphogenesis .
