Anti-Fibromodulin (mouse) [LF-150] Antibody

This rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against peptide and is specific for mouse fibromodulin.

Highlights:

  • Recognizes mouse fibromodulin - Epitope amino acid sequence DKVGRKVFSKLRHLER and DPYDPYPYEPSEPYPYGVEE
  • Suitable for Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot applications

Fibromodulin is a protein of a family of small interstitial leucine-rich repeat proteoglycans (SLRPs). Fibromodulin participates in the assembly of the collagen fibers of the extracellular matrix. It shares significant gene sequences with biglycan and deocrin.

Epitope: DKVGRKVFSKLRHLER and DPYDPYPYEPSEPYPYGVEE
Buffer: Whole serum
Tested Applications: WB 1:2000, IHC 1:300
Comments: LF-150 was made against the two peptides but we have never verified that both peptides were effective, only that natural mouse/rat fibromodulin is detected on WB. We have not looked for data by fragment analysis to see if IgG’s detect both domains.
