This guinea pig IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against the C-terminus of vesicular glutamate transporter 1 (VGLUT1) GST-fusion protein and recognizes mouse and rat VGLUT1.
Highlights:
VGLUT1 also known as SLC17A7 is a vesicle-bound, sodium-dependent phosphate transporter that is expressed in the neuron-rich regions of the brain. It facilitates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells.
