This rabbit polyclonal antibody was generated against a his-tagged polypeptide corresponding to the human polymerase subunit gamma-1 (POLG) catalytic subunit amino acids Gly714 to Leu1061 and recognizes human and mouse POLG.
Highlights:
POLG is a nuclear gene that encodes a 1239 amino acid protein (140 kDa) that functions as the catalytic subunit for the mitochondrial DNA polymerase gamma. This is the only replicative DNA polymerase in the mitochondria and responsible for replication of our mitochondrial DNA. EF1 antigen is a His-tagged polypeptide corresponding to the human polymerase gamma catalytic subunit amino acids Gly714 to Leu1061.
