This mouse IgG2a kappa monoclonal antibody was generated against full length protein with C-terminal 6xHis-tag and is specific for human C-terminal-binding protein 1 (CTBP1).
Highlights:
CtBP1 is broadly expressed from embryo to adult, and functions as a transcriptional compressor. Transciptional compressors are regulatory proteins that bind to sequence-specific DNA-binding proteins and help turn genes off. CtBPs have multiple biological roles and appear to be most important in regulating the epithelial to mesenchymal transition, as well as influencing metabolism.
