This mouse monoclonal antibody was raised against recombinant small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) Smt3p and is specific for yeast SUMO Smt3p.
Highlights:
SUMO in yeast has been shown to regulate chromatid cohesion, chromosome segregation, APC-mediated proteolysis, DNA replication and septin ring dynamics. Sumo Smt3p is also involved in uppressor of MIF2 mutations.
