These rabbit polyclonal antibodies were generated against BSA conjugated ecdysteroids E and 20E and, in combination with BLG-conjugated ecdysteroids E and 20E, allow for a fast, accurate and low-cost means to measure titers for ecdysone (E) and 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E).
Highlights:
Ecdysteroid hormones regulate several aspects of insect development and reproduction. The predominant ecdysteroids produced by insects including mosquitoes are ecdysone (E) and 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E). The ability to measure E and 20E titers is essential for many studies. These antibodies BLG-conjugated antigens allow for a fast, accurate and low-cost means to measures titers for ecdysone (E) and 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E).
