This mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody was generated against a mixture of affinity-purified tyrosine phosphoproteins from chick embryo fibroblasts expressing activated pp60src, and recognizes Cortactin (CTTN).
Highlights:
Cortactin (CTTN) is a thin, elongated monomeric protein located in the cytoplasm. It contributes to the organization of the actin cytoskeleton and cell shape. CTTN is important promoting lamellipodia formation, invadopodia formation, cell migration, and endocytosis. It is overexpressed in breast cancer and squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck.
