Goat Anti-X-arrestin / Arrestin 3 Antibody

This goat IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against peptide sequence C-RKGEEESQKAVE from the C Terminus of arrestin 3 (ARR3) and recognizes human ARR3.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with human ARR3
  • Suitable for Peptide ELISA and Immunohistochemistry applications
  • Mutations are associted with the development of Myopia-26

Arrestins are a family of scaffolding proteins that regulate cell signaling by binding to active G-protein coupled receptors. Arrestin-3 (ARR3) is a non-visual arrestin expressed throughout the body and highly expressed in cone cells and pinealocytes. ARR3 inactivates phosphorylated-opsins, preventing cone signals, and may play a role in the development of Myopia-26 and refractive error.
