Goat Anti-MTM1 Antibody

This goat IgG polyclonal antibody was generated against peptide sequence CSSPSQMMPHVQTHF from the C terminus of myotubularin 1 (MTM1) and recognizes human and mouse MTM1.

Highlights:

  • Reacts with human and mouse MTM1
  • Suitable for Peptide ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry applications
  • Mutations in the MTM1 gene are associated with X-linked myotubular myopathy

Myotubularin 1 (MTM1) is a dual-specificity phosphatase that acts on phosphotyrosine and phosphoserine. MTM1 has been implicated in intracellular vesicle trafficking and autophagy, and it is believed to be involved in muscle cell maintenance and development. Mutations in the MTM1 gene are associated with X-linked myotubular myopathy.
