This hybridoma line produces a mouse anti-human CD45 monoclonal antibody (T29/33.6.1).
CD45 is a type 1 transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed by all haematopoietic stem cells except erythrocytes and platelets. CD45 is needed for the activation and suppression of T cells after interacting with antigen-presenting cells. CD45 regulates T cell activation by gatekeeping antigen presentation and filtering based on binding strength.
