This hybridoma line produces a rat anti-mouse CD11a monoclonal antibody (I21/7).
CD11a is a panleukocyte marker expressed by B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, basophils, and eosinophils. CD11a along with CD11b and CD11c form heterodimer CD11/CD18 adhesion molecules. CD11a when bound to its major ligands, ICAM1, ICAM2, and ICAM3, acts as a key mediator of cell-cell adhesion processes.
