This hybridoma line produces a mouse anti-human CD71 monoclonal antibody (42/6.3.1).
CD71, also known as transferrin receptor protein 1 (TfR1), exists as a homodimer on the cell surface. It is essential for cellular growth and iron import from transferrin into cells. CD71 is expressed by immature proliferating cells and also at low levels on mature lymphocytes.
