This hybridoma line produces a rat anti-mouse thymocyte B-cell antigen monoclonal antibody (clone RGRSL 114.8.1).
Thymocyte B-cell antigen (ThB), also known as lymphocyte antigen 6D, is expressed on thymocytes and splenic B cells. ThB marks the earliest stage of B cell lineage commitment from the common lymphoid progenitors (CLP). ThB divides CLPs into two distinct populations, one that retains full lymphoid potential and produces more thymocytes and one that behaves like a B-cell progenitor.
