This hybridoma line produces a mouse anti-human CD22 monoclonal antibody (clone MARA 2.1.4).
CD22 (Siglec 2) is an inhibitory recepter of the Siglec family that is predominantly restricted to B cells. It functions as an adhesion receptor and a signaling molecule that may be involved in regulating the expression of surface IgM on peripheral B-cells.
