HT1080#20 rho-0 Cell Line is a mt-DNA lacking cell derived from the parental HT1080 fibrosarcoma line by prolonged treatment with an inhibitor of mtDNA replication.

- Lacks mitochondrial DNA (rho-θ, ρ)
- Can be used as a recipient of mtDNA
- May be useful for studies related to the oxidative phosphorylation system or the effects of different mtDNA mutations (as recipient mtDNA)
