This IgG2b mouse monoclonal (MBC 196.2) was generated against human platelet factor 4 (PF4) and is specific for human platelet factor 4.
Highlights:
Platelet factor 4 (PF4), also known as chemokine ligand 4 (CXCL4) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. PF4 is released from alpha granulates of activated platelets during aggregation and promotes blood coagulation. Due to these activities, PF4 is predicted to play a role in wound repair and inflammation.
Works well as a detection antibody for antigen capture ELISA when paired with Anti-Platelet Factor 4 (PF4, CXCL4) [MBC 196.5].
