Recombinant versions available at our sister company, Absolute Antibody:
Human Cytomegalovirus gB also known as Envelope glycoprotein B (gB) is a protein that plays a roll in host cell entry, cell to cell virus transmission and fusion of infected cells. It has been shown to interact with host integrin ITGB1, PDGFRA and EGFR that likely serve as postattachment entry receptors. The protein also participates in the fusion of viral and cellular membranes leading to virus entry into the host cell.
