This cell line is a derivative of the Cre4 cell line (Cat. ESA109). Cre4 cells were engineered for Tet-On expression with a retrovirus 2641 (Mol. Biol. Rep. 37 (2010) 1987-1991), which encodes a Tet-On Advanced transactivator, EGFP, and blasticidin resistance, thus producing a clone designated 4B6.
