This mouse IgM monoclonal antibody was raised against 4,4'-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) and recognizes MDI.
Highlights:
Diisocyanates (dNCOs) are chemicals used in the production of polyurethane polymers. 4,4'-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) is one of the most commonly used dNCO in industrial applications. Diisocyanates are potent allergens and are the most commonly reported cause of occupational asthma (OA) in North America. Diisocyanates form adducts with blood and plasma which can be used as detectable biomarkers for assessing dNCO occupational exposure.
