These IgG1 mouse monoclonal antibodies were generated against amino acids 1-252 of Drosophila Frizzled (Fz) and recognize Drosopila Frizzled.
Highlights:
Frizzled, a family of atypical G protein-coupled receptors, are proteins that serve as receptors in multiple signaling pathways (including the Wnt signaling pathway). These proteins play key roles in many processes in developing and adult organisms. Some of these include: governing cell polarity, embryonic development, formation of neural synapses, cell proliferation, and others. In Drosophila, frizzled (fz) locus coordinates the cytoskeletons of epidermal cells, producing a parallel array of cuticular hairs and bristles.
