Human Complement Protein FHR-3 (CFHR3) Antibodies

These mouse IgG1k monoclonal antibodies were raised against recombinant human complement factor H-related protein-3 (FHR-3) and recognize human FHR-3.

Highlights:

  • React with human FHR-3
  • 18A7 Binds to the SCR4-5 domain; No cross-reactivity with CFH and CFH-related proteins
  • 19E9 Binds to the SCR1-3 domain; cross-reacts with CFH
  • 18H8 Binds to CFHR3; No cross-reactivity with CFH and CFH-related proteins
  • Suitable ELISA and Immunoblot applications

The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted protein, which belongs to the complement factor H-related protein family. It binds to heparin, and may be involved in complement regulation. Mutations in this gene are associated with decreased risk of age-related macular degeneration, and with an increased risk of atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome.
