These mouse monoclonal antibodies were raised against purified yeast chicken interleukin 10 (IL-18) and recognize chicken IL-18.
Highlights:
Recombinant versions available from our sister company, Absolute Antibody:
Interleukin-18 (IL18, also known as interferon-gamma inducing factor) is a proinflammatory cytokine. It has shown to be produced in both hematopoietic cells and non-hematopoietic cells. IL-18 is also able to induce severe inflammatory reactions, so it plays a role in many inflammatory disorders. IL-18 has also been found to increase the Alzheimer's disease-associated amyloid-beta production in human neuron cells.
