These mouse IgG1k monoclonal antibodies were raised against purified recombinant chicken TNF-like ligand 1A (TL1A) and recognize chicken TL1A.

TNF-like ligand 1A (TL1A) also referred to as TNF superfamily member 15 (TNFSF15) and Vascular endothelial growth inhibitor (VEGI). The protein belongs to the tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily, and is a receptor for TNFRSF25 and TNFRSF6B. TL1A mediates activation of NF-kappa-B, and inhibits vascular endothelial growth and angiogenesis (in vitro). TL1A promotes activation of caspases and apoptosis pathways, and is found in endothelial cells but not in B or T cells. TL1A promotes splenocyte alloactivation. In clinical studies, it has been shown to be strongly associated with inflammatory bowel disease.
